Change your Apple Account password

Follow these steps to change your Apple Account password.

Apple ID is now Apple Account. You can still sign in with the same email address or phone number and password.

Change your Apple Account password on your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch or Apple Vision Pro

Tap Settings > [your name] > Sign-In & Security.
Tap Change Password.
Enter your current password or device passcode, then enter a new password and confirm the new password. Forgotten your password?
Tap Change.

Change your Apple Account password on your Mac

Choose Apple menu  > System Settings, then click [your name].
Click Sign-In & Security.
Click Change Password. Before you can change your Apple Account password, you’ll be required to enter the password used to unlock your Mac.

Change your Apple Account password on the web

Sign in at account.apple.com.
In the Sign-In and Security section, choose Password.
Enter your current password, then enter a new password and confirm the new password. Forgotten your password?
After you’ve completed the required information, choose Change Password.
