1. Open Printer Settings
- Click on the Start Menu and open Settings (⚙️).
- Go to Devices > Printers & Scanners.
2. Add the Printer via IP Address
- Click Add a printer or scanner.
- Select The printer that I want isn’t listed when Windows finishes searching.
- Choose Add a printer using a TCP/IP address or hostname and click Next.
- In the Device type, select TCP/IP Device.
- Enter the Printer's IP Address: 192.168.2.146 in the Hostname or IP address field.
- Uncheck "Query the printer and automatically select the driver to use" (to avoid delays).
- Click Next.
3. Select the Installed Driver
- If prompted, select Canon from the manufacturer list.
- Choose your Canon printer model (the one you installed).
- Click Next.
4. Set Printer Preferences
- Choose whether to Share the printer or not.
- Click Next, then Finish.
