How to Set Up Canon uniFLOW on Mac

Follow the steps below to install and set up uniFLOW printing on your Mac.

1. Reset your printer system

1. Go to System Settings → Printers & Scanners
2. In the printer list, two-finger click (right-click) on the section below the subtitle "Printers".
3. Select “Reset Printing System…”
4. Confirm the reset

This removes old printers and avoids setup conflicts.

2. Log in to uniFLOW

1. Go to:
    https://thegelbottle.uk.uniflowonline.com
2. Enter your work email address
3. Click Sign in
4. Check your email for a verification code
5. Enter the code to log in

3. Download the Mac printer driver

1. Once logged in, click “Start Printing” (left-hand menu)
2. Select and install the Mac Print Installer

4. Install the driver

1. Open the Download
2. Double-click the installer and follow the steps

5. Install the Smart Client

1. Open Finder
2. Scroll down to Locations / Drives
3. Select SmartClient
4. Open SmartClientForMac.pkg
5. Run through the installation

6. Sign in to uniFLOW Smart Client

1. Open uniFLOW SmartClient from Applications
2. Enter your work email address
3. You’ll receive another email with a code
4. Copy the code, then click the link in the email
5. Paste the code when prompted

✅ You will now be successfully signed in

7. Start printing

• You should now see Canon uniFLOW in your printer list
• When printing, select Canon uniFLOW
